The Archives consist of administrative files, programs/activities, and resource materials from the group and its affiliates. The organization emphasized direct action in communities and an open democratic process within the group. ACT UP/ Portland sponsored several local youth organizations, had a cooperative partnership with Public Health agencies, leafleted extensively, and held media campaigns.
